This impressive architect-designed property has been constructed to take maximum advantage of its fine, elevated position above the Camel Estuary.  From its south-facing vantage, the majority of its principal rooms face south, affording stunning views out across the water towards the hills beyond.  Its reverse-level, upside-down design has created light and airy social spaces which flow well making this luxury holiday cottage in Cornwall an ideal venue for a larger gathering. 

The house sits in generous mature grounds, offering terraces to the front and rear of the property, as well as a large play area of lawn, surrounded by mature trees that provide privacy, and a warm micro-climate.

The living room on the top deck provides a fluid, open arrangement of kitchen and dining area which leads out onto a terrace; perfect for sundowners and for those who'd prefer to watch the boats riding at anchor with a G & T in hand!  Off this sociable living area is a separate sitting room, with fine views out across the water. Beyond these rooms is study area, a further children's playroom, or sixth bedroom, and a WC.

The majority of the ground floor bedrooms (of which there are four, two twins and two doubles) open onto a south-facing terrace.  There are two large bathrooms, each with bath and separate shower.  A separate annexe provides a further retreat for grandparents, visiting relatives, or perhaps a children's nanny and this is served by a WC.  Also on the ground floor is a large, entrance hall with occasional seating, a utility room, and a further shower/WC.  The ground floor shower/WC has been cleverly designed to provide direct access from outside, extremely useful from the point of view of washing off sand and rinsing and drying wetsuits!

This is a non-smoking house.  Up to two pooches may be permitted at the owner's discretion.
