Beaches
Whatever you're looking for, you can go from lively surf to a sheltered, windless cove, to rock-pools, to dunes, to dog-friendly, to boat-friendly and back again to typical Atlantic in just a hundred metres in North Cornwall.
Cycling
Why not hire a bicycle and ride the 18-mile, surfaced between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow which passes through some of the south west's loveliest countryside, offering the chance for a rewarding cycling holiday in Cornwall.
Dining out
As far as wining and dining goes in Rock, Daymer and Polzeath goes, there is great quality, as well as quantity, of choice, and this applies to the whole spectrum of restaurants, from gastronomic treats (with prices to match) through to more value-for-money, family-oriented places, to cater whatever your needs.

Fishing
Fishing trips can been arranged from Frequent driving trips and fishing trips can be arranged hunting for mackerel, bass and even shark. Many people also enjoy rod fishing from the cliffs at the mouth of the estuary and from the beaches during the rising tides.
Golf
Enjoy an easy-to-walk nine-hole course which offers the opportunity to pay for eighteen holes but, for example, play nine holes early then return later the same day to play a further nine, located a few miles inland is the St Kew Golf Course.
Sailing
For a memorable sailing holiday in Cornwall, you can choose to hire or sail your own boat in the excellent waters off the North Cornwall coast. Every summer the Rock Sailing Club hosts daily sailing races during the two weeks of Camel Week and Junior Camel Week; and the Camel School of Seamanship - which you can find on the Pontoon at Rock - will hire you a boat or teach you to sail in some of the best waters for sailing in Cornwall.
Shopping
if you've come to North Cornwall to wean teenagers off their High St habits, you might be in for more of a struggle than you thought … Here you can choose from high-end shops selling an unlikely array of anything from black truffles to white jeans via specialist cheeses and aspirational lifestyle brand clothing.
Walking
The humble walking boot's a fantastic mode of transport to take if it you're keen to seek out the best of walking holiday in Cornwall. These routes offer some of the finest walking in Cornwall you could find on north coast or south and offers not only glimpses of seals, kestrels, puffins and peregrines but insights, too, into Cornwall's past of smuggling and shipwrecks.
Water sports
There are plenty of ways to enjoy the water, depending on whether you're an adrenaline junkie or a gentle row is more what you have in mind, there is something for everyone.
