Fishing trips can been arranged from Ferry Point in Rock and from Padstow. These trips hunt for mackerel, bass and even shark. Many people also enjoy rod fishing from the cliffs at the mouth of the estuary and from the beaches during the rising tides.

There are frequent diving trips arranged for qualified divers, from Rock, to the wrecks and reefs outside the estuary. The waters are very clear, but not suitable for beginners.
