Cothelstone epitomises contemporary beachside living with its stylish design and large balcony to the front, which really makes the most of the sea views. It's the perfect house for a family getaway or surfing holiday. Built to a high specification, you can enjoy all the modern conveniences.

Up a beautifully designed wooden staircase you'll find the open plan living area, which provides the ideal atmosphere for social gatherings. Rustic wooden beams with spotlights run the length of the gable roofs in the kitchen and lounge. Spacious with splashes of colour from the stylish accessories, it's an area you'll find yourself wanting to spend a lot of time in. A glass chessboard takes centre stage beneath the eaves, guaranteed to delight both young and old, and makes a great solution to rainy days.

Full-length glass sliding doors lead from the kitchen to the balcony that stretches across the front of the house. Here you can relax and enjoy Polzeath at its best (especially with the added bonus of a sundowner).

The beautifully styled interior flows seamlessly from room to room, with calm coastal tones in the four ground floor bedrooms creating a relaxing environment for your Cornish escape. Both double bedrooms have modern en-suites and the twin bedrooms are conveniently located near the family bathroom.

At the front of the house, the enclosed garden is both sheltered and secure; perfect for children and dogs to play or for enjoying a peaceful moment with a cup of tea. A neat lawn sits alongside gravel, while carefully planted flowerbeds line the wall to the side of the outside space. The outdoor shower to the side of the house is ideal for rinsing off salty skin and sandy feet after a day on the beach.

This is the second time we've stayed at Cothelstone. It's a beautiful house in a lovely location. The sea views are amazing - not to mention the stunning sunsets. It has a lovely open plan layout, so works well for a family to mix. There is plenty of parking and the garden is secure for the dog. Will definitely be back.

This is the second time we stayed at Cothelstone and it already feels like home from home. The house is absolutely georgeous, light and spacious. Bedrooms downstaris consist of 2 double rooms (both ensuite) and 2 twin rooms, with another family bathroom. Ideally for 2 families of 4 to stay. The kitchen is well equiped and we enjoyed making food Read morethere. The living room has super comfy sofas and beautiful sea views. There is a garden hose outside to hose down the dog after a sandy or muddy walk and there is an outdoor shower for the ones who have braved the sea. The property is located at easy walking distance to the shops and the beach. There is plenty of off road parking. A goody bag on arrival with local produce (fresh milk, bread, muesli, tea, coffee and biscuits) was very much appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay there and would highly recommend. Hide
