Perched above the Camel Estuary, Kate Cottage offers uninterrupted views down the river, where water and sky meet in a tranquil, ever-changing panorama. From the soft, inviting sitting room to each of the three restful bedrooms, the gentle flow of the estuary creates a calming backdrop to your stay. Mornings begin slowly on the terrace with coffee in hand, while evenings invite you to watch the shifting light dance across the water’s surface.

Inside, the interiors are soft and sophisticated, with a palette of coastal blues, chalky whites and natural textures creating a gentle sense of ease. The kitchen is light-filled and well appointed, with Bifold doors that open onto the terrace. The perfect setting for al fresco lunches or dinner as the sky blushes pink. On cooler days, retreat to the deep sofas beside the log burner and let the warmth wrap around you.

Upstairs, three beautiful bedrooms offer a sanctuary at the end of the day. The master is calm and cocooning, with thick carpet underfoot and an outlook that captures the estuary’s peaceful rhythm. The twin is modern and bright, while the third bedroom offers flexibility for families, with a single bed and hidden truckle tucked neatly beneath.

Outside, the terrace opens out to a large, sloping lawn that leads all the way to the water’s edge. A wooden bench at the bottom is perfectly placed for slow afternoons, quiet books and long gazes across the estuary.

What an amazing house. The decor and furnishings were beautiful and there was nothing that hadnt been thought of in the kitchen cupboards and drawers. The views from the patio were stunning. We will definitely be back.

We have been coming to Kate for many years. Always clean, comfortable and cosy (superb sofas!). Kitchen update is super! Kate is such a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle, relaxing and just wonderful. Thank you so much.
