This luxury self-catering retreat on the edge of sought-after Port Isaac is the picture of rural idyll. Offering a whole host of indulgent elements combined with charming character, Trefreock Mill welcomes the whole family (and canine companions) for a luxury self-catering escape. Bring the grandparents along too, who will love the option of staying at The Linhaye next-door, offering all accommodation on one level with parking directly outside. It also benefits from the most delightful walled garden for balmy summer days. From here, you can walk into the centre of the popular fishing village of Port Isaac in fifteen-minutes.

Those through the door of Trefreock Mill can look forward to a slice of country living. This sprawling home is encircled by mature gardens filled with colourful blooms, fluttering butterflies and big shady trees. Here, al fresco living will be top of the agenda with a whole host of cosy corners to enjoy rest and relaxation. Take in the far-reaching view across lush green fields dotted with cows, which beautifully frame the Atlantic Ocean. In summer months, the sweet scent of roses carries in the breeze. Four-legged friends will be in their element here. A secure lawn to the back provides a safe space for canines to play and an outdoor dog-shower is on hand for muddy paws.

Inside, discover character around every corner. Exposed brickwork and honey-hued oak beams complement the plush interiors inspired by the tones and textures of nature. Spacious rooms and a plethora of social spaces are the perfect combination for families to spread out and enjoy time apart but also quality time together. Choose from three living spaces, each with a crackling log burner to warm toes after long coastal walks. Prepare holiday suppers in the vast kitchen and enjoy starlit feast nights around the dining table that sits alongside floor to ceiling windows. The garden comes alive with atmospheric night lighting, providing a memorable setting for special occasions.

On the ground floor, choose from four-blissful bedrooms, each with a spa-like en-suite. In the master bedroom, a king bed sits against statement floral wallpaper, mirroring the scenes outside, through the French doors. Pad across slate flagstones into the en-suite where a decadent deep blue bathtub awaits a generous helping of bubble bath. Two further double rooms boast king-sized beds and stylish shower rooms. We have been coming to Cornwall since 1968 and have never stayed in such a beautiful property before; ideal for our three generations. Bedrooms were beautifully styled and very comfortable. Weve had a wonderful week; enjoying the amazing views from the house, sitting in the garden and relaxing.
