Offering total tranquillity, Meadowside is an unexpected discovery set back from the main road that runs through the village to the beach. Finished in a fusion of soft grey cladding and Cornish stone, Meadowside is the ultimate family home for beachside holiday. Designed with the view in mind, this reverse level retreat has been newly renovated inside and offers sprawling social spaces with an abundance of natural light.

Inside, the generous living spaces open to a large sun deck, linking the spaces beautifully for easy al fresco dining. From here, you can look out towards the shimmering estuary waters and the green hills beyond. A vaulted wooden ceiling and views of the trees swaying gently outside create a distinctly alpine feel. Warm wooden floors flow throughout the spaces and are dispersed with soft rugs, while large windows and glass doors allow plenty of Cornish daylight to stream through.

A brand-new kitchen boasts a large breakfast bar with chic glass lighting hanging from above; the perfect place to start your day with some fresh pastries from the local bakery. Here, you will find everything you need for home-from-home cooking. A long dining table sits alongside where you can enjoy holiday feasts with a view of the estuary. For rest and relaxation, choose from the spacious lounge, complete with crackling log fire, or the brand-new snug complete with plush corner sofa and large flat screen TV.

When eyelids grow heavy, pad down the softly carpeted stairs and choose from four blissful bedrooms. Decorated in calming coastal tones with elegant wooden panelling, you will be sure of a restful night's sleep here. The vast master bedroom has a spa-like en-suite and full-length glass doors that open out to the patio. A second en-suite bedroom boasts a super-king bed which can also be made up as twin beds. A further two bedrooms are located just across from the dreamy family bathroom, finished in brushed brass and stylish mosaics. Here, you can enjoy long bubble baths in style.

Steps from the sun deck lead down to a private garden, the perfect spot for picnics and sunbathing or for four-legged friends to play. Enjoy some me time at the sheltered patio table with a fresh coffee and a good book. A lawn stretches out from the patio and dappled sunlight streams through the leaves of the mature trees above. Grasses spill from the bordering beds and in spring and summer months they come alive with colourful blooms and fragrant rosemary.

Great location, well equipped and spacious house but it has been heavily used and needs decorating. The garden was very poorly maintained, the BBQ looked unusuable

Another fabulous stay at our 'home from home' in Rock. We have been very lucky with the sunshine and warmth in March. New dining and casual chairs look smart and are comfortable. The house constantly improves and it is much appreciated. Be back soon. Thanks again.

We had a fabulous time staying at Meadowside. What a lovely house - beautifully decorated and wonderfully laid out. We enjoyed being so close to the ferry, walks along the beach and over to Polzeath. Great to be so close to Bluntrock Taproom - the best beer! Looking forward to coming back again.
