Perched on the cliffside within Polzeath Beach House, Stepper at The Atlantic offers one of those rare getaways where the car keys can stay firmly out of sight. With the beach just footsteps below and The Atlantic Bar and Restaurant waiting downstairs, days here unfold easily between early dips, long lunches and watching the swell roll in from above.

Inside, the apartment is arranged over two thoughtfully designed levels, echoing its coastal setting with a palette of skimming-stone greys and deep teal blues. Clean-lined, modern interiors create a calm backdrop for sea-view living, while full height-windows frame the sea beyond. The open plan living space opens onto one of two balconies: ideal for checking the surf or settling in with a morning coffee as the light shifts across the bay.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is quietly special. Tucked away at the top of the apartment, it opens directly onto a sun deck; a beautifully sheltered spot for slow mornings or evening drinks. From here, views stretch across the water towards Stepper Point, the rugged headland that lends the apartment its name and has guided sailors’ home for generations.

Back on the lower floor, two further bedrooms offer flexible, family-friendly sleeping. One features a zip-and-link bed, while the bunk room (with a double below) is perfectly suited to children or teenagers. A contemporary family bathroom nearby makes rinsing off salt and sand an easy end-of-day ritual.
