Architecturally striking from the outset, Sea Jade is a newly built, sublime contemporary barn defined by its bold dark timber façade, softened with pale wood and stone. Confident yet grounded, the house sits comfortably within the landscape, with open countryside stretching out beyond the garden.

Beautifully positioned on the quieter edge of New Polzeath, Sea Jade feels gently removed from the everyday, wrapped by rolling fields and open skies, yet with the sea always close by. At the bottom of the garden, a private gate opens onto a winding path that drifts down towards Polzeath and the beach, turning sandy mornings and sunset swims into an easy, everyday pleasure.

Step inside and the atmosphere deepens. Light pours through expansive glazing, catching on smudgy Moroccan hues, earthy pigments and layered natural textures. The interiors feel warm and enveloping, with a softness and depth that invites you to slow down, breathe out and settle in. Everywhere you look, framed countryside views draw the outside in, creating a seamless connection between home and landscape.

At the heart of the property lies the vast open-plan kitchen and living space, designed for long, unhurried days together. Vaulted ceilings lift the room skywards, while a walk-in pantry keeps hosting effortless and relaxed. As the fire crackles on cooler evenings or the doors slide open on warm afternoons, the space flows naturally outdoors, carrying you straight from kitchen to terrace in one easy, sunlit movement.

What a fabulous Easter stay! Beautifully appointed house with everything you need for a relaxing break. Easy walk to beach and along cliff top to watch surfers and beach goers having fun. Lots of space to chill and then gather for meals in the beautiful kitchen dining room. We will return without a doubt.
