Tamarisk Lodge is a unique property set within a tranquil location. The house has lovely Dover grey timbercladding and this, coupled with a scattering of mature trees, creates an alpine feel. This is a great base from which to explore the area while avoiding the crowds. You're only a scenic footpath away from the beach at Daymer Bay and a short walk from the surf at Polzeath.

Tamarisk Lodge is beautifully decorated with soft cream walls, carefully chosen furniture and wooden floors that flow throughout the social spaces. The spacious kitchen has a truly homely feel, with a beautiful cream Aga that takes centre stage. Here you can create a home from home and enjoy some cooking or baking using delicious local produce. A softly cushioned corner seat and wooden farmhouse table provide a cosy area for lazy breakfasts.

The large open-plan lounge and dining area is centred around a log burner; the ideal place to warm up after a day exploring the coastal paths. The windows and full-length glass doors allow plenty of natural daylight to flow in, and from the lounge you can open up the doors to the patio and gardens.

Tamarisk Lodge has three attractive and spacious bedrooms, all with cosy furnishings. Two are beautifully decorated double bedrooms, and the master has an en-suite. The twin room is spacious with lovely sloped ceilings.

The house is set within a sheltered location with a well enclosed garden creating private outdoor spaces for the whole family to enjoy. Double doors open up from the lounge to a stone-flagged patio and a soft lawn surrounded by flower beds and planters. This is the ideal spot to enjoy some al fresco dining, evening drinks and garden games.
