The Cottage occupies an enviable position at the bottom on Daymer Lane, just a stone's throw away from the beach itself.
As close to the beach as a house can be, The Cottage is the last house on Daymer Lane and occupies a truly unique position. All that stands between you and the beach is a large garden and grassy car park to the front of the property.
Daymer Bay is the ideal beach for family days out, with its large expanse of golden sand and calm bathing waters. Dog friendly all year round, it's perfect if you're bringing a four-legged friend on holiday. The bay is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts; on a windy day, kite and wind surfers can be seen flying up and down close to the shoreline. The wonderfully green Brae Hill towers above the far side of the beach, and from the top you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the estuary and surrounding Cornish countryside.
The Cottage is located opposite a pretty footpath that leads onto the St Enodoc golf course and past the picture-perfect St Enodoc Church. Here you can enjoy a round of golf with a view or explore the beautiful historic church and resting place of poet Sir John Betjeman. The Cottage is a great base from which to explore the area. To the left you can take the coastal path along to the secluded Greenaway Bay and the popular surfing beach of Polzeath. To the right you can walk across Rock Beach to Rock and either have lunch at one of the fantastic restaurants there or take the ferry across to Padstow.
