This family-friendly beach is perfect for building sandcastles and learning to surf, while the many cafés and restaurants offer somewhere to enjoy a drink and some food and watch the world go by. If you enjoy walking, you can stroll down to Polzeath Beach from Mesmear along scenic footpaths taking in lush green fields and woodland along the way.

Little Mesmear is well positioned to come and go with ease, making it a breeze to explore the local area. The beautiful beaches of Rock and Daymer Bay are less than a ten-minute drive away. Here you can take a dip in the calm estuary waters and explore the rolling sand dunes. Walk to the beach

Take a right out of the driveway and head along the pretty Cornish lane. At the junction, pop straight across the road onto the public footpath, through the field and left down the hill and onto the golf course. The footpath will take you all the way across the golf course, through a section of woodland and through the valley into central Polzeath taking around 25 to 30 minutes.
