Walk to the beach

From 2 The Old Bakehouse, it’s a scenic walk through Fore Street, past Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen and along the Platt to the beach and harbour. The sheltered beach stretches out to twin piers at low tide, revealing rock pools and an expanse of sand. Alternatively, walk along the coast path to Port Gaverne beach in 10-15 minutes (five minutes by car).
