Description

With an elegant slate façade, vast social spaces, tennis courts along with acres of fields to explore, Moiety Cross is the ultimate secret escape. Those through its doors can enjoy the best of coast and countryside. With the St Enodoc Golf Course next-door, you can enjoy a scenic amble across the fairways to the golden sands of Daymer Bay or to the labyrinth of sand dunes at Rock Beach.

Inside, discover roaring log fires, a secret door and plenty of nooks for quiet moments and holiday relaxation. In summer months, enjoy the warm ambience of the two lounges where sunlight streams though the sash windows, and in winter bask in the radiant glow of the double fronted log burner. A vast kitchen complete with breakfast bar and hot plate, provides the setting for morning coffees and holiday feast preperation.

When tiredness reigns, pick a wing and pad up one of two staircases leading to six blissful bedrooms. The elegant master bedrooms boasts a superking bed, triple aspect windows and a spa-like open en-suite. Each bedroom offers views across the sprawling garden. Tumble into the sheets and enjoy a delightfully deep sleep with just the sounds of the birds in the trees at dawn to form your holiday soundtrack.

Outside, smooth slate flagstones wrap around the front of the house and provide the setting for sunbathing and al fresco dining. A statement glass dining table sits on top of a twisted tree stump and is encased with curved wooden benches. Here, you can gather for evening meals and enjoy the outlook across the garden which overflows with colourful blooms in the summer months. To the back of the property, chunky slate furniture surrounds a pretty pond and here, you can enjoy a tranquil moment with your favourite novel.

Pad across the soft green lawn and discover the brand-new tennis courts which are surrounded by grassy meadows dotted with wild orchids and sculptural tree stumps (shared with next door). Home to an abundance of local wildlife, children will love spotting the resident rabbits and catching a glimpse of Fantastic Mr Fox. Fragrant rosemary spills from the walls above the amphitheatre-style firepit, and here, the whole family can gather and toast s'mores under the starry night sky.
