The Long House is perfectly positioned just inland from the rugged beauty of the coastline, with Port Isaac, Rock, Polzeath and Daymer Bay only a few miles away.
The parish of St Kew is possibly the most idyllic and quintessential village within North Cornwall. Not far from the front door of The Long House is the village pub and the historical church of St James. The St Kew Inn is well-known for its gastro status, using locally sourced produce to create traditional food to a high standard (we recommend booking a table in advance).
The Long House is the ideal base from which to explore North Cornwall. You are just a 10-15-minute drive away from the golden sandy beach at Rock, where you can enjoy a family beach day out, and ten minutes from the surfing beach of Polzeath. The historic fishing village of Port Isaac (home to Doc Martin) is just moments away.
The estuary-side market town of Wadebridge is a short drive away. Here you can browse a wonderful collection of independent shops and cafés, or hire bikes and cycle the Camel Trail to Padstow.
