This character cottage is tucked away in a quiet area of Rock, with a pretty garden and heated outdoor swimming pool.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday in this character cottage, which is set back from the hustle and bustle of central Rock.

From Treglyddins you can easily pick up the main road that runs through the village to the beach. Along the way, you'll find everything you need, from shops and restaurants to golf and water sports. A leisurely stroll will take you all the way to the bottom of Rock and the beach. Stay and enjoy the long golden sands and calm bathing waters or walk along to the neighbouring beach, Daymer Bay. From here, you can pick up the coast path to Polzeath.

If you want to experience the water first-hand, why not try sailing or water skiing at Rock's sailing club? Or for a more leisurely experience, take a sea safari from the pontoon. This is a great chance to see the coastline and spot wildlife.

Polzeath is just a five-minute drive away if you fancy a spot of surfing or body boarding. There is a selection of surf schools from which you can hire wetsuits and boards and take lessons. After an active day there are plenty of quality restaurants to choose from in Rock and Polzeath.

Walk to the beach

If you fancy a change from fresh water to salt water, take a twenty-minute scenic stroll down to Rock. Here you can enjoy golden sands and calm bathing waters. Simply follow the Rock Road, either stopping off at Porthilly Cove or heading straight to Rock Beach.
