Description

Church Lane house is hidden away on a small track at the bottom of Daymer Lane, just a three-minute walk to beautiful Daymer Bay Beach. Here, a tree-lined footpath leads over a trickling stream onto the undulating fairways of the St Enodoc Golf Course with paths to St Enodoc Church (where this luxurious home coined its name) or the beach. This position, just back from the beach, offers privacy and tranquillity combined with total convenience.

This impressive coastal retreat is finished in a beautiful fusion of crisp white walls, slate, wooden cladding and French Grey flourishes. Inside, you will be greeted by a symphony in white and sunlight, sure to immediately sooth the soul. Sprawling social spaces sit under vaulted ceilings and each room is indulgently finished. In summer months, enjoy the best of inside-outside living, and in winter months, hunker down beside the crackling log fire in the elegant lounge.

Whether work or play, there is sure to be a space to suit (and to keep all generations happy). A sunny reception room alongside the kitchen boasts a plush corner sofa and glass doors that open out to the garden. An impressive, glass-lined corridor leads to a stylish office, cosy TV room and opulent lounge. Here, two long white sofas frame the sleek fireplace, and daylight floods through from the roof and full height glass windows.

The expansive kitchen is finished in chic black and white. Culinary wizards can make themselves at home here, whipping up delicious breakfasts and desiccant suppers. These can be enjoyed either at the long statement dining table that sits alongside, or al fresco in the garden. A large breakfast bar provides the setting for morning coffee and buttery croissants, where the day's adventures can be planned.

Providing abundant comfort, six blissful bedrooms offer refuge for those with heavy eyelids post their daily dose of vitamin sea. Tumble into the crisp white sheets adorning the emperor bed in the master bedroom. A private balcony offers views across to the estuary and beyond. A beautiful stand-alone bathtub can be found up a flight of wooden paddle steps to the mezzanine. A further three en-suites and three bathrooms, mean there will be no queuing for morning or evening holiday pampering.

To the back of Church Lane House, a soft lawn encased by railways sleepers and bordered with beds spilling with fragrant rosemary, stretches out to a thick green hedgerow dotted with mature evergreens. Pad across the chunky slate flagstones, warmed by the Cornish sunshine and sink into the sun loungers for some true rest and relaxation. To the front, a circular wooden table framed by twisted vines, provides a sheltered spot for an evening barbecue.
