Financial transactions

Latitude50 is responsible for financial website transactions.

The Latitude50 website is SSL secured, your credit card details are entered on a secure page and are transferred using secure SSL technology.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information while you use our website and when you get in touch or sign up to our email newsletter.

We may collect the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling out a booking or enquiry form, such as a contact name, address, telephone number and email address. If you book by telephone, we will record this data during our conversation in the Super Control booking software.
  • If you sign up to our email newsletter, we will collect your email address and name.
  • Details of your visits to the site, including your IP address, and the pages that you view (through cookies). This is anonymous data collected by Google Analytics.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of this correspondence.

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, your information will be stored in the Campaign Monitor newsletter system.

We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Any personal information is kept private and securely stored until a time it is no longer needed, or until you request that we remove it from our records.

Information security

We work hard to keep your data safe. We use an appropriate combination of technical and organisational measures to ensure as far as possible the confidentiality, the integrity and the availability of your information at all times.

How will we use the information about you?

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will contact you by email with special offers, news, details of upcoming events and updates about changes to our services. Newsletters may record subscriber data relating to engagement and geographic data, which we use in marketing analysis. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.

If you fill out a contact form on our website, we will use the details to contact you by email or telephone in relation to your enquiry.

If you make a booking through our website or by telephone, we will use your information to process your booking, keep you updated on its progress and request feedback after your holiday.

You agree that we can share your personal information with:

  • Our suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them to allow us to provide services to you, and only where they are under a duty to deal with your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998; and
  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site.
  • Social media consultants who run advertising campaigns on our behalf.
  • With direct family, associates or representatives of the person whose personal data we are processing, where appropriate.
  • Suppliers or insurance brokers in the case of, and on behalf of, our property owners.

Access to your information

The cookies we use

This website uses cookies, which are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit. They are used to tailor your return visits and provide a more personalised experience, or to assist in monitoring website usage. They do not allow us to identify you as an individual. PHPSESSID

Cookie generated by applications based on the PHP language. This is a general-purpose identifier used to maintain user session variables. It is normally a randomly generated number and is used to maintain a logged-in status for a user between pages.

__cfduid

The __cfduid cookie is used to override any security restrictions based on your IP address. It does not correspond to any user ID in the web application, nor does the cookie store any personally identifiable information.

__utma

Used to distinguish users and sessions. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utma cookies exist. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

__utmt

Used to throttle request rate.

__utmb

Used to determine new sessions/visits. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utmb cookies exist. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

__utmc

Enables website owners to track visitor behaviour and measure site performance in Google Analytics.

__utmz

Stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how users reach a site. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

__utmv

Used to store visitor-level custom variable data. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

exp_csrf_token

Security measure to protect users against cross site request forgery, preventing submissions to forms from other websites.

exp_last_activity

Every time the state is updated (the page reloaded) the last activity is set to the current datetime. Used to determine expiry. This is essential for logged in users, but not for guests.

exp_last_visit

Sets the datetime that the user last visited the site, and is set for both guests and logged in users. If not set, is automatically set to 10 years ago. Affects guests and logged in users.

exp_perpage

Allows the site to remember your preferences.

exp_sessionid

A uniquely generated ID that corresponds to the session_id column in the exp_session table. Used when cookie and session are set as the session type. Used only for logged in members.

exp_shortlist_session_id

Delivers shortlist functionality.

exp_tracker

Tracks the last 5 pages viewed by the user; used primarily for redirection after logging in. Affects guests and logged in users.

exp_stashid

This cookie generates a unique ID that relates to session values that determine the current state of the website and any actions you have performed. Expires after 2 hours.

Disabling cookies

You can prevent the setting of cookies by adjusting the settings on your browser (see your browser Help for how to do this). Be aware that disabling cookies will affect the functionality of this and many other websites that you visit. Disabling cookies will usually result in also disabling certain functionality and features of this site, and we therefore recommend that you do not do this.
