From Rock, you can also hop on the ferry to Padstow to stroll around a picturesque harbour and sample some of the area's finest seafood. 

Polzeath is also within easy reach. Here you can make the most of the fantastic surf conditions with a bodyboarding session or a lesson with one of the surf schools based on the beach. 

Hop onto the South West Coast Path and explore the beautiful stretch that winds up to Pentire Head, The Rumps, Lundy Bay and beyond. 

St Minver is an easy drive away from the nearest town, Wadebridge. Here you can stock up on holiday essentials, sample the cafes and restaurants, and catch a film at the cinema. You are also easily placed to explore pretty local villages, including St Kew, Port Isaac, and Port Gaverne.
