Description

Occupying the entire top floor of this majestic Edwardian townhouse, Pymp (five in Cornish), boasts wooden floors stretch out under chunky wooden beams and glass doors at either side open up to private balconies. With nothing standing between you and the ocean, the sea view encompasses the rugged rock formations at Port Gaverne, all the way across to headland at Tintagel.

The open plan living spaces include two vast mustard and grey corner sofas, where you can out your feet up and admire the view. A sleek kitchen has everything you need for home-from-home cooking including stylish black Smeg appliances. A breakfast bar takes centre stage and here, you can gather and plan the day's adventures with a fresh coffee in hand.

You may never want to tear yourself away from the view from your balconies, but for al fresco dining, a sheltered patio to the back of the building provides the perfect spot. Here, a chunky wooden picnic bench with decorative gabion pebble feet sits alongside a swaying palm tree and giant terracotta olive jar. Your very own clapperboard grey beach hut with yellow door can be found up the path at the side of the building, providing safe storage for your boards and wetsuits.

As night falls, a sea-air infused restful slumber is assured in one of the three blissful bedrooms. Slip into the plush super-king bed in the master bedroom. Here, flourishes of yellow, warm wooden furniture and stylish en-suite await. Bedroom two features a super-king bed and steamy en-suite shower room. Whilst the third bedroom boasts twin beds that can be zip and linked together to make a king-size. After a day exploring, unwind in the family bathroom with a steamy shower or a relaxing soak amongst the bubbles. At Pymp, slipping into holiday mode will take just mere moments.
