When it comes to meal times, there's no need to leave the pup behind. We have hand-picked a selection of eateries in and around Rock, Polzeath and Port Isaac, where your dog will be made to feel as welcome as you.
Rock
The Mariners

Overlooking the Camel Estuary, there is no better place to while away the afternoon than at The Mariners. Headed up by Paul Ainsworth in collaboration with Sharp's Brewery, the menu is full of the best local produce. The terrace and downstairs bar are both dog friendly.

The Upper Deck is a popular choice with those looking to rest their weary feet after a long stomp through the sand dunes. Dogs are allowed both inside the restaurant and out on the terrace.
Polzeath
Surfside

Surfside (Polzeath's coolest restaurant and rum bar on the beach) allows dogs in the bar at all times. Head on down for a bit of storm watching or cosy up in front of the log fire with a rum cocktail in hand.
TJ's Surf Café

Breathe in the fresh sea air on the terrace at TJ's Surf Café. The café welcomes dogs on leads and even has a doggy menu on offer, so your pup can dine with you.
Oystercatcher

Oystercatcher is perched above Polzeath, with great views across the beach. A lively pub, serving classic pub food, it welcomes dogs both inside and on the large balcony overlooking the ocean.
The Waterfront

The Waterfront commands one of the best views in Polzeath. Whether it's an afternoon coffee or a sundowner cocktail, dogs are welcome in the bar area at all times.
Port Isaac
The Mote

Situated in the heart of Port Isaac, The Mote focuses on local produce served in a friendly environment. Soak up the bustling atmosphere of this historic fishing port from one of the sheltered outside tables. Dogs are welcome in the downstairs area and outside.
The Golden Lion

The Golden Lion is a beautiful 18th-century pub, full of original character and charm. On a winter's day, grab a seat by the fire, in the cosy bar or on a sunny day, take in the views across the harbour from the balcony. Dogs are welcome in the ground-floor bar area.
The Black Wine Bar and Café

The Black Wine Bar and Café is perched at the top of the village and offers a delicious selection of local seafood and meat dishes. Canine friends are welcome on a short lead, and dog treats are usually kept on the counter.
