It's a common enough boast that a location combines the best of everything, but Daymer has more reason that most to make the claim. Between Rock and Polzeath, and close to the village of Trebetherick, you'll find dunes, rockpools, gently-sloping sands and safe waters. This is the part of North Cornwall which so entranced Sir John Betjeman (it's not hard to see why). He's buried at the atmospheric St Enodoc Church, close to the famous St Enodoc golf course.
