Nestled on the fringes of Port Isaac, this enchanting retreat blends oodles of character, breathtaking countryside and sea vistas and lavish flourishes to create a unique setting for your North Cornish escape.

Immerse yourself in Doc Martin country at Trefreock Mill and enjoy the best of both Cornish countryside and village life by the sea. Enjoy a scenic country walk into the centre of Port Isaac in just fifteen-minutes.

You will be spoilt for choice with miles of scenic walks on your doorstep including the nearby South West Coast Path. Hop across the country stile and you'll be in Port Isaac in fifteen minutes. Packed with culinary delights, you’ll be spoilt for choice for places to eat. Choose from characterful pubs, cosy cafés and restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood. For a special occasion, head up to Restaurant Nathan Outlaw and enjoy a fine-dining experience with a view. Time it right and you might be treated to a live performance on The Platt by the Fisherman’s Friends.

If you’d rather be out on the water, head to the picturesque village Port Gaverne, which is just along from Port Isaac. Here, you can choose from an adrenaline-fuelled coasteering experience, a kayaking adventure or a relaxing paddleboarding session with Cornish Rock Tors. Adventure completed, head to the Port Gaverne Hotel and warm up with a hot chocolate or cool down with a cold glass of local ale and perhaps a bite to eat.

Set within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the pretty hamlet of St Endellion is a gentle fifteen minute amble away and holds the wonderful St Endellion Music Festivals at Easter and in the summer months. Here, you can also discover Trevathan Farm, a fantastic place for lunch, afternoon tea and a firm favourite with the children as it has a play area and animals to meet.

Make the most of your stay and explore the neighbouring villages and beaches. Take to the waves at Polzeath (a ten-minute drive away), or head to Rock for a sailing lesson or to catch the ferry to Padstow. Here you’ll also find the world-famous golf course of St Enodoc, and the golden sands of Daymer Bay provide the perfect location for a family beach day. All are only a short drive away from Trefreock Mill.
