This enchanting retreat is nestled in the welcoming arms of quintessential Port Isaac where oodles of character and lavish flourishes create a unique setting for your North Cornish escape.

Nestled in the heart of Port Isaac, this magnificent town house commands a bird's eye view across the village towards the beach. From here you can amble down the charming narrow streets to the harbour in just minutes.

From this stylish base you can explore everywhere on foot including the independent shops and cafés and watch the fishermen bringing in the catch of the day. You will be able to spot locations made famous in Doc Martin and The Fisherman's Friends movie, and if you are lucky you might bump into one of the cast.

The lesser-known hamlet of Port Gaverne is also within easy reach. Here, you can enjoy a beach day, spot dolphins and seals from the headland and enjoy live music at the Pilchards Café . For those who enjoy being on or in the water, Cornish Rock Tors offer coasteering, kayaking, paddleboarding and wild swimming here. You can also easily hop on the South West Coast Path and explore some of the more scenic stretches of coastline in the UK, taking in hidden bays and picturesque villages.

Foodies will be in heaven at Valencia House. Just minutes away are two restaurants by celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw; The Fish Kitchen and Restaurant Nathan Outlaw. For a Cornish pub experience, choose from The Golden Lion (featured in Doc Martin and the Fisherman's Friends movie) or the Port Gaverne Hotel and Restaurant, both within walking distance. You are also just a short stroll from the Co-Op supermarket, making it easy to pick up those holiday essentials.

It is easy to come and go from Valencia House, making it a fantastic base to explore the best that North Cornwall has to offer. You can be at the popular surfing beach of Polzeath in under fifteen minutes or the estuary village of Rock in twenty. Here you can partake in a number of watersports or hop on the ferry to explore the harbour town of Padstow. You are also in easy reach of Tintagel from Valencia House, home to the famous castle associated with the legends surrounding King Arthur.
