Polzeath Beach is a family-friendly beach, perfect for building sandcastles and learning to surf, while the many cafés and restaurants offer somewhere to enjoy a drink and some food and watch the world go by. If you enjoy walking, you can stroll down to Polzeath Beach from Mesmear along scenic footpaths taking in lush green fields and woodland along the way.

The Tractor Shed is well positioned to come and go with ease, making it a breeze to explore the local area. The beautiful beaches of Rock and Daymer Bay are less than a ten-minute drive away. Here you can take a dip in the calm estuary waters and explore the rolling sand dunes. Whether its family beach days, watersports sessions or hopping on the ferry across the estuary to Padstow, you will be spoilt for choice for days out.

The historic fishing village of Port Isaac is just a fifteen-minute drive from The Tractor Shed. Here you can explore the narrow, cobbled streets, browse the independent shops and spot the filming location of Doc Martin and the Fisherman's Friends. Enjoy fish and chips on The Platt and watch the fishing boats come in and out of the harbour.

For those of you who enjoy golf, play a few holes at The Point Golf and Leisure Club, which is only a two-minute drive from The Tractor Shed. There is also an indoor pool, gym and restaurant with fantastic views. The well-renowned St Enodoc Golf Course is also within easy reach, with breathtaking views and two courses to choose from.
