This unexpected haven occupies a tranquil position in central Rock, where soft lawns cocooned by flower beds meet chic living spaces complete with all the modern day luxuries.

Tucked away down a quiet lane just off the Rock Road, The Rookery is within easy reach of everything Rock has to offer, allowing you to make the most of your precious time on the North Cornish coast.

The Rookery is located in a quiet area near the top of the Rock Road. From here, it's easy to pick up the footpath that leads to Porthilly Cove on the Camel Estuary. At low tide, you can walk along on the sand from Porthilly to the famous Rock Beach. Alternatively, it takes just minutes to drive to Rock, Polzeath and Daymer Bay.

Enjoy a fantastic combination of peace, quiet and convenience at The Rookery. All the local amenities are within walking distance, including shops, cafés and a fish and chip shop for those evenings where you don't fancy cooking. If you want to eat out, there's a fantastic array of restaurants close by. Choose from a fine dining experience at The Dining Room and a home-cooked meal at The Upper Deck and Four Boys Café while you enjoy views across the estuary to Padstow. You can also sample the best local ale and produce at Nathan Outlaw's pub The Mariners.

There are plenty of opportunities for action and adventure nearby. Get the wind in your hair on a sea safari with Wavehunters from Rock, learn to sail or water ski with The Rock Sailing and Water Ski Club, or take a dip in the calm bathing waters at Rock or Porthilly. For those wanting to learn to surf, head to Polzeath, just a ten-minute drive away.
