Skylarks is nestled above Daymer Bay, just moments from the beach by private lane. Enjoy truly breathtaking views across the sweeping garden to the beach, Brea Hill and the Camel Estuary

At Skylarks, golden sands are close at hand so no need to pick up the car keys. Enjoy all that Daymer Bay has to offer, knowing home comforts are just moments away. The large, enclosed garden and proximity to the beach (which is dog-friendly all year round), make it the perfect choice if you're bringing a four-legged friend on holiday.

With plenty of beaches and dunes to explore as well as calm bathing waters, Daymer Bay is sure to create lasting memories. Challenge the family to a race up Brea Hill, which towers above the beach. Your reward for reaching the top is the incredible panoramic views across the estuary and the surrounding countryside. For those who enjoy a spot of golf, St Enodoc Golf Club is just a short stroll away.

Miles of scenic coastal paths are close at hand, making Skylarks the perfect base from which to explore the area. Coastal paths stretch from Daymer Bay to Rock Beach, or at low tide you can walk across the expanse of golden sands from one location to the other. At Rock, browse the shops and sample the fantastic local cuisine, or take the ferry across to the beautiful harbour town of Padstow. From the opposite side of Daymer Bay you can walk along to the lesser-known Greenaway beach and onto Polzeath: the ideal place to take a surf lesson or try paddle boarding.

Walk to the beach

To get to the beach from Skylarks, simply go through the gate at the bottom of your garden and follow the private lane down to Daymer Bay from Daymer Lane. You can also walk from Daymer Bay to Rock Beach (to the left) or along the coast path to Polzeath (to the right).

We loved our stay at Skylarks. It has an incredible position with stunning views across a beautiful garden onto the coastline beyond. It tempted us out for long stunning dog walks. The property is incredibly well equipped and spacious. It is light, fresh and immaculately clean. We couldn’t fault it. And would like to return in the summer and enjoy the outdoor dining area with a glass of something chilled.

We loved everything about Skylarks, particularly the wonderful views and the beautiful secluded garden, but the house itself is also very lovely, spacious, peaceful and full of light even on a rainy day. Very comfortable and well equipped. The outdoor shower and pool table were great for our sons. A really calm and beautiful place to stay after a stressful year. We hope to return.
