Tamarisk Lodge

50° 33′ 42.352″N -4° 54′ 51.558″W

This charming New-England-style property is tucked away in a quiet area close to the beautiful beaches of Daymer Bay and Polzeath.

This charming seaside home is tucked down a private lane off the main road that runs through Trebetherick to Polzeath.

You'll find Tamarisk Lodge down a quiet no-through road, meaning you're perfectly placed for a tranquil holiday while being only moments from all the area has to offer. It's only a short, scenic stroll down a picturesque footpath to the golden sands at Daymer Bay.

Daymer Bay is a beautiful golden beach with extensive sand dunes to explore. On a calm day the waters are great for bathing, while on a blustery day kite and wind surfers take to the water. Sheltered spots provide a great setting for beach picnics and barbecues. There are also plenty of rock pools for crabbing and hunting sea life. The beach backs on to the famous St Enodoc golf course; a wonderful destination for those that enjoy playing with a view.

From Daymer Bay you can easily explore the neighbouring beaches of Rock and Polzeath via the scenic coastal paths. At low tide, Daymer Bay joins with Rock Beach, meaning you can walk across the sand and explore the shops and restaurants of Rock. If you'd like to explore the other side of the water, you can take the ferry across from Rock to the harbour town of Padstow.
