Rock is just a 10-minute drive away and here you can catch the ferry across to the harbour town of Padstow, home to Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant.

Walk to the beach

You couldn't be much closer to Polzeath beach at Ivy Cottage. Simply head out of the door and stroll down to the bottom of the road and you will be on the sand in just two minutes. You can also hop on the South West Coast Path that leads you along to Greenaway Beach, Daymer Bay and Rock Beach.

It was a gorgeous place to stay, decorated to such a high standard with a lovely feel, luxurious bedding and towels. Fantastic location and view.
