This bijou bolthole is perfectly positioned just a two-minute amble from Polzeath Beach, where cosy interiors and dreamy seascapes combine to make Trelawny the perfect retreat for two.

Description

Trelawny offers solo travellers, couples and small families a fantastically central base just moments from the South West Coast Path and the soft sands of Polzeath Beach. Inside, crisp white walls, wooden shutters and accents of blue exude a beach house flavour. In summer, bask in the warmth of the sunny window seat and in winter, watch the waves crash against the headland from the comfort of the snug sofa.

From Trelawny you can pad down the flight of wooden steps that wind down to the shared soft green lawn complete with fragrant Buddleia, picnic benches and resident wild rabbits. Here you can while away sunny afternoons with a good book or indulge in some garden games. A rustic wooded path leads from here down to the bottom of the valley where you can hop across the road to the beach.

Daylight floods through the double aspect windows in the living space, providing the ideal setting for holiday feasts, cosy evenings in and holiday board games. A bay window houses a window seat and here you can recline and take in the view across the valley. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing holiday picnics and indulgent breakfasts.

The master bedroom, complete with a king-sized bed, has plenty of space for unpacking holiday essentials and making yourself at home. The wooden shutters frame the view of the ocean and are perfect for blocking out the light when long holiday lie ins are on the cards. A brand-new, spa-like shower room with large walk-in shower provides the perfect place for post-beach pampering.
