At Little Riggs you are a five-minute scenic stroll from the secluded cove at Porthilly and the golden sands of Rock Beach. Rock Beach links to Daymer Bay at low tide and from here you can pick up the coast path to Greenaway Beach and Polzeath. Porthilly, Rock and Daymer Bay are dog friendly all year round, so if you're bringing your four-legged friend with you, there will be plenty of choice for scenic dog walks.

If you enjoy golf, you can stroll up to the beautiful St Enodoc Golf Club. Here there are two courses, both with breathtaking views. If you prefer water sports, you're within easy reach of the Rock Sailing and Water Ski Club, where you can learn to sail or water ski, or improve your technique. To try body boarding or surfing, head to Polzeath: just a five-minute drive away from Rock, it has fantastic conditions and a choice of places to hire kit and take lessons.

Little Riggs is within walking distance of all the restaurants in Rock. Walk up the hill to The Dining Room to experience fine dining. Just moments away is Nathan Outlaw's pub The Mariners. Here, you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the estuary views with a local ale.

Walk to the beach

From Little Riggs, it's just a short five-minute walk down the Rock Road to the start of Rock Beach. Stay and enjoy the wide expanse of sand and dunes or walk along to Daymer Bay. If you feel like exploring the beaches on the other side of the water, hop on the ferry to Padstow.
