St Enodoc View

50° 33′ 45.753″N -4° 55′ 21.658″W

Blending elegant dashes of character with lashings of modern luxury, this self-catering sanctuary is nestled just above the sands of Daymer Bay where generous landscaped gardens await.

Occupying an enviable position towards the bottom of Daymer Lane, St Enodoc View can be found nestled within generous grounds, just minutes from the soft sands of Daymer Bay.

Nestled between Rock and Polzeath, Daymer Bay is a coastal haven with a sloping beach, safe waters and rugged sand dunes. On calm days, its shelter makes Daymer Bay a popular spot for swimming, while wind surfers and water sports enthusiasts flock here when the breeze gets up. The towering green tump of Brea Hill rises above the soft golden sands. Challenge your family to a race to the summit and catch your breath whilst taking in spectacular views of the Camel Estuary out to sea. Golfers will be in their element here with the well-renowned links course belonging to the St Enodoc Golf Club just metres away.

At low tide the beach at Daymer Bay joins up with Rock Beach. Here, you can enjoy family beach days or head to the sailing club or watersports centre and try everything from wakeboarding to wake surfing and paddleboarding to sea safaris. In Rock you can browse the independent shops and enjoy lunch with a view at The Mariners. You can catch the ferry from the beach which takes you across the estuary to the harbour town of Padstow, home to Rick Stein's array of fantastic seafood restaurants.

The famous white rollers of Polzeath Beach are an easy twenty-minute walk away along the softly undulating coastal path. Watched over by lifeguards in summer months, this beach is family friendly and perfect for beach days and bodyboarding. Here, you can hire everything you need for watersports and choose from one of the fantastic local surf schools based right on the beach. In Polzeath you can easily pick up some holiday essentials and enjoy breakfast, lunch or supper in one of the vibrant cafes or restaurants.
