Cothelstone has a commanding position above Polzeath Beach. Away from the main hustle and bustle, you're only five minutes from the sand and surf.

The house overlooks Polzeath Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, placing you away from the main road but close to Polzeath's beach, surf schools, shops and restaurants. From here, you can step straight onto the National Trust footpaths. Walk along from Polzeath Beach to lesser-known Greenaway Beach and on to the expanse of Daymer Bay, or follow a footpath in the other direction to Pentire Head and The Rumps.

Cothelstone is located close to The Point, where you can enjoy a spot of tennis, golf, swimming, gym and dining overlooking the valley across to the sea. The popular village of Rock, with its golden sandy beach, estuary views and water sports, is only a 10-minute drive.

Walk to the beach

You'll find the beach just a hop, skip and a jump down the quiet track outside the house. Follow the short section of footpath, which leads onto the main road running into Polzeath and past the beach. From doorstep to sand takes less than five minutes.

The house has a welcoming feeling of openness - it's so spacious, airy and light - while the decor tips its hat to maritime themes in a fresh, friendly and pleasingly modern way.

Cothelstone is a contemporary holiday home that sits on the slopes of the village. The house has been thoughtfully designed to maximise the spectacular views of the cove, with a huge open-plan living, dining and kitchen space on the first floor along with two terrace-style balconies.
