Borlase

50° 34′ 41.993″N -4° 54′ 48.256″W

Borlase is a contemporary coastal oasis boasting sprawling social spaces and a sun-kissed garden, just moments from the ocean and acres of National Trust countryside.

Borlase is nestled in a quiet area of New Polzeath, within easy reach of sand, surf and a network of beautiful coastal paths.

At Borlase, it's only two minutes from doorstep to sand. Polzeath’s acclaimed surfing beach, and some of the most spectacular National Trust protected coastal paths that North Cornwall has to offer are within very easy reach by foot.

New Polzeath is an extension of Polzeath and offers a tranquil location from which to enjoy your seaside holiday. Here you are set back from the hustle and bustle of central Polzeath but close to everything you could need on your holiday. There are plenty of beaches within walking distance: choose from the sheltered sands of Baby Bay and the fantastic surf conditions at Polzeath. From the beach at Polzeath you can hire boards and wetsuits, or take a lesson with one of the local surf schools.

From Polzeath you can walk along the coast path to Daymer Bay, where the large expanse of sand and calm bathing waters offer the ideal location for a beach day out. Daymer Bay backs onto the beautiful St Enodoc Golf Club, should you fancy a round of golf. The picture-perfect St Enodoc Church can also be found here.

From Daymer Bay, you can continue walking until you reach the estuary-side village of Rock. Alternatively, hop in the car and you'll be in Rock in under ten minutes. Rock has a beautiful beach as well as a selection of high-quality restaurants. From here, you can catch the ferry across to explore the harbour at Padstow.
