Carn Mar is located off the beaten track, at the end of a quiet lane in the beautiful area of New Polzeath. Here all that separates you from the beach is the picturesque coast path winding down to the sands of Polzeath Beach.

While you’re here, enjoy the surf and beach lifestyle that the area is famous for, with the comfort of home just moments away.

Polzeath is renowned for its fantastic surf conditions and collection of high quality surf schools. At Carn Mar all you need to do is look out of the window to assess the conditions, making it the ideal base if you enjoy time amongst the waves.

With the picturesque South West Coast Path on your doorstep, there are endless possibilities for walking and exploration. To one side, discover the secluded sands of Baby Bay and the rugged coast path leading up to Pentire Point and The Rumps. Pack some snacks and bubbles and head up for a breathtaking sundowner to remember.

To the far side of Polzeath Beach is the coast path leading along to Daymer Bay. Here you can enjoy a family beach day or round of golf at the world famous St Enodoc Golf Course. Around the headland are the golden sands of Rock Beach, where you can take to the water with a sailing lesson or sea safari, or hop on the ferry to the harbour town of Padstow.

Walk to the beach

This couldn't be simpler from Carn Mar, where a wooden gate at the bottom of the garden opens onto the coast path to Polzeath Beach. Take a right along to the steps that will lead you to the sand in moments. You can also pick up the South West Coast Path to Daymer Bay and Rock Beach, discovering a secret beach or two along the way.

Carn Mar is one of their most special homes, ideally located on the edge of the beach at Polzeath. This expansive retreat has six bedrooms, a large open-plan kitchen and numerous pristine common spaces for guests to enjoy.
