2 Pentire View is nestled within an elegant Victorian terrace just above Polzeath Beach. With everything you need right on your doorstep, you won't need to reach for your car keys.

Polzeath is a fantastic family holiday destination. With a long expanse of golden sand for beach games and barbecues, rocks for rock pooling and excellent surf conditions, there's something for everyone. Surf schools on the beach hire out equipment and offer lessons for all ages and abilities. The beach is watched over by lifeguards in the summer months so you can all safely enjoy the water.

If you enjoy walking, you've come to the right place. 2 Pentire View is a stone's throw away from the South West Coast Path, which includes some of Cornwall's most striking stretches of coastline. If you take the footpath along to the left you'll reach Greenaway Beach, which is the ideal spot for a beach barbecue. Carry on to walk to Daymer Bay: great if you have dogs with you or fancy a swim in calm bathing waters.

With a large selection of quality restaurants nearby, you won't ever have to reach for the pots and pans. Sample fresh lobster on the beach at Surfside or venture to Rock to sample the local ales at Nathan Outlaw's pub The Mariners.

Walk to the beach

With the beach in sight from your window, it's just two minutes from door to sand. Simply walk down the garden pathway to the road and around the corner to the beach. You'll also be conveniently placed near the South West Coast Path, which takes you along to Greenaway Beach, Daymer Bay and Rock.

We have stayed at this property for four years now, it has all we need, great view, in the village and very close to the beach.
