Penroy is located down a no-through road, off the main road that leads into Polzeath. From here, it's just minutes from door to sand. You're just a stone's throw from the South West Coast Path that leads to Greenaway Beach, Daymer Bay and Rock Beach to the left and Polzeath Beach, Pentire Point and The Rumps to the right.

Within easy walking distance of all you could need for a holiday by the sea, you'll be able to leave the car at home. Polzeath has a fantastic selection of cafés, restaurants and bars, as well as surf lifestyle shops to browse. You can pick up all your holiday essentials from the Spar shop located in the heart of Polzeath.

If you enjoy activities on the water, there's plenty to choose from nearby. A number of quality surf schools are based on Polzeath Beach, offering lessons and equipment hire. On a calm day you can hire paddle boards, which is a lovely and relaxing way to enjoy the water. Rock is a scenic stroll or short drive away, and here you can learn to water ski or sail, or take a sea safari with Wavehunters.

Walk to the beach

After you've absorbed the sea views at Penroy, you just need to turn left out of the driveway and follow the bumpy road down to the coastal footpath. You can then turn left and head for Daymer Bay or turn right for Polzeath Beach; both are about ten minutes on foot.
