Pinetree Lodge is a large and fantastically-finished, self-catering family home flaunting far-reaching views over rolling fields and a delightfully spacious garden.

Nestled amongst mature green trees and acres of rolling countryside, Pinetree Lodge occupies a private and peaceful position in New Polzeath close to rolling surf, sandy beaches and lush green countryside.

At Pinetree Lodge you really can enjoy the best of both worlds. To one side you have golden sandy beaches with fantastic surf conditions. To the other you have acres upon acres of National Trust land, perfect for dog-walking, picnics and general exploration.

Families will be in their element at Polzeath beach. This family-friendly beach is patrolled by lifeguards in the summer months. Polzeath has all the ingredients for a classic family beach day - water for paddling and bodyboarding, soft sand for sand castle building and beach games and of course, locally made ice-cream with a flake on top.

Join the nearby South West Coast Path which will take you up to the dizzying heights of Pentire Point, a perfect spot for sundowners. From here you can head along to The Rumps, Lundy Bay and as far as Port Quin and Port Isaac. In the other direction you can discover the lesser known beach at Greenaway and Daymer Bay, home to Brea Hill and the crooked spire of St Enodoc Church.

From New Polzeath it is easy to come and go, avoiding the Polzeath traffic. Head over to the popular village of Rock for the day and explore the beautiful beach and enjoy a spot of lunch at Paul Ainsworth's The Mariners pub. From Rock you can catch the ferry across to the pretty harbour town of Padstow. Here you can browse the shops and sample Rick Stein's finest seafood.

You will be spoilt for choice for watersports too. With a world-class selection of surf schools based on Polzeath beach, you will be wave riding in no time at all. Camel Ski School in Rock offer a plethora of watersports from waterskiing and wakeboarding to paddleboarding and even banana boating. If you prefer sailing, then you are in luck with the fantastic sailing school combined with the perfect conditions on the Camel Estuary.
