Long rambles along the South West Coast Path, invigorating surf sessions at Polzeath Beach or family beach days on Baby Bay, Sunrise is conveniently close to all three.
Polzeath Court lies in the tranquil area of New Polzeath and backs onto rolling green fields. From here, you can hop straight onto the National Trust footpath that runs down to Polzeath Beach which lies just 500m away. At Sunrise it's easy to make the most of the golden sands and fantastic surf conditions before refuelling in one of the vibrant cafés or restaurants bordering the beach.
With miles of the county's most scenic coastal paths on your doorstep, you will be spoilt for choice for coastal adventures. In one direction, climb up the towering Pentire Headland and take in the breathtaking views, explore the rugged Rumps rock formation and stroll along to the hidden beach at Lundy Bay. To the other side, stroll along Polzeath Beach and join the coast path that hugs the clifftop past Greenaway Beach to Daymer Bay and along the Camel Estuary to the popular village of Rock.
If long walks aren't for you, simply hop in the car and you will be in Rock in just ten-minutes. Here you can enjoy beach days on the soft sand and dips in the calm estuary waters. Watersports enthusiasts will be in their element here. Whether it's a sailing or waterskiing session or a paddleboarding or kayaking trip, you can enjoy a whole host of activities on the water here. For a lovely day out, hop on the ferry from Rock Beach across the estuary to Padstow where you can explore the shops and restaurants lining the pretty harbour.
